On November 11th, Prof. Hong-Ming Ku, Dr. Saranya Thonglek and Dr. Amornrat Wattanalamloet of Thailand’s King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) visited the university. The main focus of the trip was to discuss a cooperative summer internship project. In order work out the related details, a special meeting was arranged with Director Shyang-Chwen Sheu of the Department of Food Science, Director Jr-Ming Miao of the Department of Biomechatronics Engineering, Dean J.C. Leong of the International College, Director Ying-Chieh Lee of the Graduate Institute of Materials Engineering and Vice President for Academic Affairs Chung-Ruey Yen. The visitors from Thailand also were given a tour of the Institute of Materials Engineering, the Center for Agricultural and Aquacultural Product Inspection and Certification, and the Department of Food Science GMP Simulated Production Line.
