Condolence Support for Misfortunes

Students who have encountered misfortunes such as a car accidents or deaths may apply within 6 months from the occurrence of the event.

1. Application Form

2. Proof of misfortune (death cert., proof of serious injury, proof of loss of employment, etc.)

3. Photocopy of personal bank statement.

4. Photocopy of Student ID.

Please fill in the Condolence Support for Misfortunes Application Form within 6 months from the incident and request a stamp of verification from your department’s Student Affairs Officer, a counseling professor or the department director. Then apply at the Life Counseling Section of the Student Affairs Office

If you are hospitalized due to illness, you may receive a condolence payment of up to 10,000 NTD, depending on your condition; if you become severely disabled due to an accident you may receive a condolence payment of up to 20,000 NTD; and a family member may receive a condolence payment of up to 30,000 NTD in cases of accidental death.

Support for Family Suffering

Students whose families encounter tragedies, such as the death of a parent, major injury or loss of employment, can apply for financial assistance within 6 months of the occurrence of the incident.

3.Full Household Registration

4. Photocopy of bank statement

within 6 months from the occurrence and request a counseling professor to stamp the required documents. Then apply at the Division of Student Activity.

Depending on the family misfortune, the subsidy will be from 5,000 NTD to 10,000 NTD for one semester.

Diligence Award Scholarship

Among the top three GPA in the previous academic year

1. Application not required. The Office of Student Affairs and the Division of Continuing & Extension Education will confirm the names list and send it to the Division of Student Activity for processing.

2. Students who are awarded the scholarship will need to provide a photocopy of their personal bank book.

After the approved lists are sent to the Division of Student Activity and compiled, they will be sent to each department for confirmation. The students will be asked to fill in the contact number and a photocopy of their personal bank book. (Only students who apply for an exemption may continue to receive privileged status).

The first place scholarship is 5,000 NTD; the second place scholarship is 4000 NTD; the third place scholarship is 1,000 NTD.

Outstanding Student Performance Award

Students who have performed exceptionally during the semester and won honors for the school may apply within one year.

1. Outstanding Student Performance Award Application Form

2. Regulations for competition of participation, number of participants and number of teams

3. Proof of winning an award (a photocopy of the certificate or medal)

4. A photocopy of the front and back of personal ID card and deposit book

After filling in the Outstanding Student Performance Award Application Form and preparing the required documents, please apply to the Division of Student Activity within 2 months from the start of each semester and within 1 year from the time the award was received.

Student Professional License Award

Students who obtain a professional license during the semester, may apply for the awards after receiving authentication.

1.Application Form
2. A scan file of the front and back of personal ID.

3. A scan file of personal bank book.

4. A scan file of the professional license.

1. Applications are received at the beginning of each semester.

2. The license type must be within the scope, category, and standards indicated in the regulations.

3. The effective date of the license must be applicable to the semester and requirements of the award.

4. After obtaining the professional license and authentication, students can apply to the Placement Office within the period announced by the office.

International Student Study Scholarship

1. Foreign students at NPUST who in the previous academic year had an average GPA of 75 points for Bachelors and 80 points for Graduate Students can apply.

2. In principle, master's programs will offer subsidies for 2 years and the doctoral programs for 3 years.

Foreign students currently enrolled at NPUST:
1. Application Form.
2. Transcript from previous academic year.
3. Two letters of recommendation.
4. Photocopy of front and back of ARC and bank book.

1. Foreign students who have had excellent academic performances can apply to the Office of International Affairs within the period announced by Office (July 20 to August 5, each year).

2. New students should submit the application together with their enrollment application.

3. The duration of this scholarship is one year at the end of which reapplications may be submitted.

Stable Studies Financial Support

Students whose families experience financial difficulties due to a mishap. Following an assessment, students may apply one time per semester for the same reason. 

1. Stable Studies Financial Support referral form.

2. Statement showing payment of tuition and misc. fees.

3. Full Household Registration

4. Statement of combined income of parents and student for the previous year.

After the incident occurs, please fill in the Stable Studies Financial Support referral form, prepare the other necessary documents and request the stamp of a counseling instructor. Then apply at the Division of Student Activity.

Life Services Learning Assistance Funds

Students whose families have financial difficulties can apply after assessment.

1. Referral form for stable studies assistance.

2. Transcript for the previous semester

3. Proof of economic difficulty (low-income household, low-middle-income household, major injury or illness, physical and mental disability, in special family circumstances, unemployment certificate, certificate of annual income less than 700,000 NTD, etc.)

Students may apply according to their needs during the semester
